Traffic review

888poker has quite good traffic in various disciplines (NLHE and PLO cash games, MTT, fast poker “Snap”, jackpot SNGs called “Blast”. The peak hours occur in the evening in Europe and during weekends. At micro-stakes there are usually up to 30 active tables. At low-stakes — around 20 tables. At mid-stakes — up to 10 tables. At higher stakes the action is not regular. As for PLO — you can find enough action at all stakes up to PLO100.

The MTT schedule is pretty diverse and quite large. Every day there are lots of tournaments with different buy-ins. Several times a year, the room holds online series with huge prize pools. Lottery SNG tournaments called “Blast” are available at 4 different stakes: $0.1, $1, $5 and $30. At $30 limit the jackpot is $300 000.

Software & trackers

The client has versions both for PCs and mobile devices (iOS and Android). From the beginning of 2019, 888poker began the transition to the brand new software called “Poker 8”. Rake structure

In cash games the rake is 5% ($0.01 of rake for every $0.20 in the pot). It is calculated according to the weighted-contributed system. The rake has the following caps:

• for HU-tables — from $1 (at NL10-NL1000) to $2.5 (at NL1000+);
• for tables with 3+ players — from $2.5 to $5.

In local spins called “Blast” the rake varies from 10% (for $0.1 limit) to 6.67% (for $30 limit). For almost all MTTs the rake is 9-10%, but for MTTs with buy-ins from $200 and higher the rake can be lower — from 5% to 7.5%.

Rakeback & bonuses

The room offers a first deposit bonus of 100% up to $400. The bonus is paid in chunks of $10 for every $50 of rake and provides a 20% rakeback. You will have 90 days to clear the bonus.
New players also receive a $88 free no deposit bonus, which consists of:
